Da Mhile (pronounced da vee lay) is Gaelic for 2000.
To celebrate the Millennium, John Savage-Onstwedder (an organic farmer) commissioned Springbank Distillery to produce the first organic single malt Scotch Whisky (1992 Da Mhile).
Limited to 1000 bottles, this whisky contains 30% of the original 1992 Da Mhile and 70% of the original grain whisky distilled at loch Lomond Distillery.
