1) Prices

a) Prices shown initially in the on-line store include VAT at the rates currently applicable in the UK. The VAT breakdown is detailed once the product is added to the cart. For purchases from non-EU countries, no VAT is liable on the goods and shipping.

b) Prices shown against each item listed are not inclusive of postage and packaging which will be added to the bill.

c) The rates applicable to postage and packaging are detailed under the delivery and rates section of the web site.

d) All prices published on the web site constitute an invitation to treat rather than an offer capable of acceptance by any purchaser. Such prices are published in good faith and are believed to be correct. However, Pure Spirit Drinks reserves the right to alter or change prices at any time up until delivery of the product selected.

e) Any price changes will be notified and confirmed to you via your order confirmation receipt.

2) Ordering, Processing and Payment

a) IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU ADVISE US ABOUT ANY URGENT / CRITICAL DEADLINES AT THE TIME OF ORDERING.

b) IT IS ALSO STRONGLY RECOMMENDED UPON PLACING YOUR ORDER THAT YOU ARE CONFIDENT THE ADDRESS DETAILS YOU SUPPLY ARE CORRECT AND THAT SOMEONE WILL BE AVAILABLE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9AM TO 7PM TO ACCEPT THE PACKAGE.

c) Please follow the on-line instructions for ordering products through the web site. If you have any difficulties with the process please contact us directly via e-mail - info@purespiritdrinks.co.uk or by via telephone: +44(0)1952 594523.  We aim to respond to all e-mails within 24 hours.

d) Your on-line payment will be processed through Worldpay.

e) Our on-line payment software includes advanced anti-fraud checks and this may result in orders being cancelled and suspicious transactions being reported to the relevant authorities.

f) Once the on-line checkout process has been completed orders are usually processed within 24 hours.

g) The delivery of goods within the UK may take up to 5-7 days. If you have not received your goods within 14 days of ordering, please contact us email us direct at info@purespiritdrinks.co.uk or telephone: +44(0)1952 594523.  Delivery schedules for items outside the UK are detailed in the relevant shipping section of this web site.

h) Our website advertises items which are available at short notice or direct dispatch from our suppliers.  We can not guarantee that all items are in stock at all times.

i) We can also accept orders and secure payment using the majority of debit and credit cards via telephone.  Please e-mail us your requirements and we will contact you to complete your order.  Please e-mail: info@purespiritdrinks.co.uk.

j) You can also place orders via e-mail and pay using a cheque, made payable to 'PSD Enterprises Ltd',  Store G22, Unit C, Halesfield 10, Telford, Shropshire, TF7 4QP. We recommend that cheques are sent with a proof of postage or special delivery.  We will dispatch your goods once the cheque has cleared.

k) From time to time our website features options to make a charitable donation prior to completing your order. Pure Spirit Drinks Ltd will match 100% your donation made at the time of purchase.

3) Products and Stock

a) All products offered are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee availability of the products listed. The majority of products advertised on our website are available at short notice from our suppliers or can be dispatched direct from our suppliers.

b) Customers will be notified about the availability, delivery details and dates of non-stock items via our on-line ordering system, e-mail or telephone, within 24 hours or an order being placed.

c) Any products highlighted as being subject to a promotional price have previously been available at the higher indicated price on our web site.

d) Under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR), the contract for sale should be performed within 30 days of an order being placed, unless agreed otherwise between the buyer and seller.

e) If you are not satisfied with the service provided or wish to cancel you order you can do this at anytime before the goods are dispatched by e-mailing Pure Spirit Drinks - info@purespiritdrinks.co.uk, quoting your order or transaction number.

4) Shipping

Cost Effective Shipping

a) Cost effective and reliable shipping is available on orders for delivery within the UK. We use Royal Mail for small items, and a variety of premier couriers for standard bottles and case orders. 

b) We ship parcels Monday to Friday excluding national holidays in England. The cost of shipping is directly related to the weight of the consignment (including packaging), shipping destination and speed of delivery.

g) The following postcodes are generally covered by the Scottish Highlands, UK Islands and Northern Ireland charges – HS, IV, KW, PA20-PA80, PH17-PH26, PH30-PH44, PH49-PH50, ZE, BT, IM, PO and TR.

h) The weight of each consignment is calculated automatically depending on the type of items added to the shopping cart and shipping destination. For large consignments to the Scottish Highlands, UK Islands and Northern Ireland, please contact us direct for a competitive shipping price - e-mail: info@purespiritdrinks.co.uk.

i) If you have a requirement for an urgent order or an item is required by a certain time on a specific day, then please e-mail us direct at info@purespiritdrinks.co.uk to discuss your requirement and the shipping cost. Our website allows for standard delivery shipping and ‘click and collect’ from store only.

Shipping and Delivery

j) Delivery is usually within 5-7 days depending upon availability and delivery within England, Wales and parts of Scotland. Once the item(s) have been processed for dispatch, we provide customers with an estimated delivery schedule, consignment tracking information and other supporting information.

k) We strongly recommend upon placing your order that you are confident the address details you supply are correct and that someone will be available between the hours of 9am – 7pm to accept the package. In the event that our couriers have fulfilled their delivery requirements to the best of their ability adhering to our terms and conditions we will be unable to refund any delivery costs if you do not receive your goods and additional re-delivery charges will be incurred. These re-delivery charges are currently set at £9.95 per consignment. Goods are dispatched through our network of couriers and their terms and conditions apply. Pure Spirit Drinks does not accept liability for delayed or non delivery of goods due to incorrect and /or inaccurate information at the time of ordering, including wrong postcodes.

Shipping Outside the UK

m) Please contact us for a quote to deliver items outside the UK – info@purespiritdrinks.co.uk. We only ship overseas orders using couriers, which we arrange from the UK. We do not accept collections via third party couriers arranged by customers in the UK or overseas.

n) It is the responsibility of customers outside the UK to pay all local duties and taxes where applicable.

o) We can not guarantee the delivery of international consignments as there may be customs interference at the point of entry to each country. We can not be responsible for items damaged or seized by customs. Items are dispatched entirely at the risk of the customer.

p) Items are dispatched in good faith and customers are responsible for adhering to national and local alcohol licensing restrictions and minimum age requirements for consumption in their individual countries / states.

 5) Legal Restrictions and Requirements

a) Items containing alcohol can only be ordered by and delivered to those aged 18 or over ( UK ).

b) Individuals that access the site from other locations than the UK are responsible for compliance with local laws. This includes minimum age restrictions for the consumption of alcohol.

c) Pure Spirit Drinks will at all time adhere to the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 (and as amended), as it applies to England and Wales.

d) Pure Spirit Drinks reserves the right to request additional forms of ID when processing internet orders.  Only the following forms of photographic identification are acceptable in order to process a sale, if challenged for ID: a) Photo Driving Licence; b) Passport, or c) Official PASS card.

e) Pure Spirit Drinks reserves the right to refuse a sale, should there be concerns about a customer's age or conformity with the Licensing Act 2003.

6) Goods Receipt, Returns and Refunds

a) Goods must be checked at the time of delivery and any damage notified to Pure Spirit Drinks.

b) Returns and refunds - we only accept the return of goods, and issue a full refund, when: 1. the goods have demonstrably been damaged prior to transit (photo evidence is usually required), or 2. The goods have demonstrably been damaged during transit (collaborating information from our couriers is usually required) or, 3. the goods received are clearly different from those ordered, and importantly 4. the recipient has notified us of the fact within 24 hours of receipt.

c) Goods shall not be returned unless and until the customer or recipient has advised Pure Spirit Drinks and the company has accepted the return of the goods.

d) On return of goods, Pure Spirit Drinks shall be responsible for the cost of transit by the method specified by us.

e) Replacement goods shall only be issued on receipt of returned goods to Pure Spirit Drinks.

f) Refunds will only be credited to the account of the customer upon the receipt of our goods. This refund will include the total cost of the transaction, which includes the cost of the product and the cost of delivery.

g) From time to time you may be offered a substitute product, if your original ordered item is out of stock. If you are not satisfied with any products supplied as substitutes, Pure Spirit Drinks will pay the costs of returning any products, as long as these items are returned in their original condition.

7) Information and Security Details

a) The information contained in this web site has been prepared in good faith and is believed to be correct at the time of publication. Pure Spirit Drinks makes no representation or guarantee as to the accuracy of any of all the information on the site.

b) We take internet security issues seriously and are committed to ensuring your information is stored and handled safely and privately. We use the industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) secure server to ensure private information is stored and credit card details are transmitted securely across the internet.

c) Pure Spirit Drinks conforms to the UK Data Protection Act. Any information you provide is handled with strict confidence and is stored in a secure location. Apart from cases of fraud, your details will not be disclosed in any way to any persons outside Pure Spirit Drinks.

d) Pure Spirit Drinks adopts a strict anti-fraud policy and any suspicious transactions will be reported to the relevant authorities for further action.

8) Copyright

a) All rights in the design applications and any items contained within this site including its trademarks and intellectual properties are either: 1. Solely owned by PSD Enterprises Ltd and may not be used for any other purpose without the prior agreement of the company, or 2. Reproduced with the permission of the copyright holder.

9) Privacy Policy

a) Pure Spirit Drinks respects the privacy of our customers, and while we hold a record of customer's past orders in order to improve our own customer service, this information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

b) At the time of ordering customers have the option to receive our e-mailed newsletter (sent approximately once a month) from which customers can unsubscribe at any time. Otherwise we do not pass on any customer records to other companies or organisations. If you have any concerns about your privacy or security please feel free to contact us.

10) Private Sale Items

a) Pure Spirit Drinks also sells collectors' items on behalf of private customers. This is clearly highlighted in the sales listing of individual items.

b) We offer a free initial valuation service on private sale items.

c) Sellers are encouraged to set a confidential minimum reserve price with PSD for private sale items.

d) For valuation items we require: a) the actual item(s) or high resolution photographs; b) evidence of purchase or a detailed provenance; c) verified customer address details.

e) The sellers' fees are charged at 10% of the Final Value (FV) plus VAT.

f) Items shipped to Pure Spirit Drinks for valuation are done so at the sender's risk.

g) Pure Spirit Drinks can arrange for the collection of valuation / sale items, which is charged at £9.95 per consignment (up to 12 bottles of spirits).

11) Trade Customer Terms and Conditions

Purchasing

a) In order to supply our customers with the very best in quality products, we have introduced a purchasing standard, which will apply to all trade purchases. Key aspects of this policy are detailed below: 1. We continue to purchase only genuine UK duty stamped products. 2. All goods will need to be supplied with the relevant barcode / GTIN information at the time of purchasing. 3. All goods will need to be supplied in A1 condition, which includes packaging material. 4. Beers, ciders and other items should have a minimum shelf life of 6 months.  Should products not meet these standards, they will be returned to source and a delivery charge applied to cover the cost of shipment.

Supply

b) For deliveries within 10 miles of Telford a free local delivery service on orders over £100 ex VAT is available. For trade orders within the wider UK a free local delivery service is available on orders over £250 ex VAT. For orders below the minimum order value a delivery charge of £9.95 will be applied.

c) All trade orders will need to be placed with Pure Spirit Drinks before 12 noon each Monday to guarantee same week delivery (usually Thursdays or Fridays).  Please e-mail orders to: info@purespiritdrinks.co.uk.

d) All trade customers will be required to complete an application form and sign a direct debit mandate for agreed credit terms.

e) All items remain under the title and ownership of PSD Enterprises Ltd, until paid in full.

f) Pure Spirit Drinks should be informed of all damaged or sub-standard products within 24hrs of receipt.  Under no circumstances will items be refunded unless notification is made during this 24 hour period.
